Provisions And Guideline

  • Normally a student is allowed to participate in one semester of study abroad as part of the Exchange Program. In some cases, extension for a second semester may be approved.
  • Student must enroll only in the courses approved by the home university. The transfer of credits is not guaranteed if the original university did not approve it in advance.
  • Student participating in Exchange program must enroll to study only the same academic major and degree enrolled in it at the original university.
  • Student participating in the Exchange Program must enroll in full time study, which is a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester or equivalent.
  • Student participating in the Exchange Program must complete final academic semester in original university.
  • A student who fails to pass any courses at the host university abroad may be responsible for re-paying all costs incurred for the course/s
  • The student must achieve a minimum a grade of a "C" or higher (or its equivalent) in each approved course in order to be transferred back to the original degree program as per its Transferred Credits Policy.
  • Exchange Program is available for Fall and Spring semesters. In some cases, summer semesters maybe considered.
  • The MOE approved list of universities, programs and countries is subject to be updated and published yearly.
  • Eligibility criteria for the Exchange Program is subject to be reviewed, updated, and published prior to each admission cycle.

Selection Process for Scholarship Students

  1. Limited scholarships are available annually.
  2. The above conditions are the minimum eligibility requirements for scholarship submission and meeting these conditions does not guarantee the selection of the applicant.
  3. Applicants are selected based on a differential process that takes into consideration many factors, such as the academic background of the applicant, the admission offers the applicant has provided, the level of the University and the need for the specialization to be studied, the outcome of the personal interview, in addition to other factors.
  4. The scholarship application must be submitted not later than the admission deadline announced on the Ministry of Education website, and application submitted after the deadline will not be considered.
  5. Applicants is allowed to only submit one application during each admission cycle.
