Department Overview

The University of Sharjah holds many scientific gatherings in various fields, contributing to the advancement of research and community service. Over the past few years, the number of conferences held by the University increased to such an extent that it became necessary to establish a dedicated office that would manage its academic events in a manner appropriate to its reputation. The Conferences Office is considered an important link between the University and the community through its work in organizing events, such as conferences, major scientific forums, and important meetings with parties from within and outside the University.

The office is part of the University's Community Affairs Office which links its events and activities with various community sectors. It co-hosts conferences with local and international academic and research institutions, companies, authorities, departments, centers and institutions with the aim of presenting beneficial experiences and bringing together specialists from various professions and scientific fields. The main objective of the Conferences Office is to disseminate knowledge, science, and culture and ensure the continuity of various events at the University to strengthen its relations with the business community and its institutions.
