Under the patronage and presence of Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and President of the University of Sharjah (UoS), the 9th Emirati German Congress of Medicine and Dental Medicine will kick off tomorrow, Monday, at the UoS's Medical and Health Sciences Colleges Campus, and the second day of the congress will be held at the UoS's Kalba Campus, in collaboration with the University of Lubeck, Academic Reinbek's Hospital Hamburg, Germany, Sharjah Health Authority, and Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority, coinciding with the university's celebration of the silver jubilee.

This year, 33 speakers from the United Arab Emirates and Germany will participate in the conference which will focus on three main pillars, including Basic Medical Sciences, Clinical Medical Sciences and Dental Sciences. The conference will offer 33 scientific lectures and workshops in fields of medicine and dental medicine. During the second day, the activities of the conference will be hosted by the UoS's Kalba Campus, in which postgraduate students will participate in presenting 30 research posters and 7 researches , and the best three researches in the dental medicine and the basic medical sciences will be announced by a specialized jury.
