The Masar Initiative
The UoS Masar Initiative aims to create a healthy learning environment. Our primary initiative provides a strong, supportive foundation for the well-being of faculty and students, fostering a dynamic learning atmosphere where our dedicated faculty and students can reach their full potential.
The first 120 days on the job are an Orientation and Review Period—a time for you and your supervisor to assess whether the job is a good fit for both parties.
- The Hiring Manager Checklist should be reviewed by you and your supervisor
- At the end of the first six months, an evaluation of your performance is required
- Either the employee or the University of Sharjah can end the working relationship for any reason during the Orientation and Review Period.
