  • The Dean of each college will appoint a coordinator for organizing the orientation sessions according to the attached dates, in coordination with the relevant departments (Admissions, Registration, Deanship of Student Affairs).
  • The colleges are responsible for inviting students and providing the necessary hospitality during the meetings with the deans as scheduled above.
  • Faculty members are instructed to dedicate five minutes at the beginning of each lecture to engage in a dialogue with students about negative behaviours on campus and encourage positive behaviours. This initiative aims to strengthen the relationship between professors and students, ensuring it extends beyond just academic matters.
  • The University will present symbolic gifts to new students, which will include a sports bag bearing the University's logo.

Note (1):

The Student Council will prepare a series of informational videos about the University's classrooms, facilities, and services in collaboration with the Media Center.

Note (2):

An email will be sent to all new students from the Admissions Department, inviting them to attend the general orientation sessions on September 1, 2, and 15. The colleges will announce the specific dates listed in the schedule above to the new students.

Note (3):

The Public Relations Department will coordinate with the University City Management to book the hall on the specified dates after approval from the University Chancellor.

  • The Dean of each college shall appoint a coordinator to organize the orientation meetings according to the dates provided, in coordination with the relevant departments (Admissions, Registration, and Student Affairs).
  • The colleges are responsible for inviting students and providing the necessary refreshments during the meetings with the deans as outlined above.
  • A directive will be issued to faculty members to dedicate the first five minutes of each lecture to discuss certain negative behaviours on campus and promote positive conduct. This initiative aims to ensure that professors remain connected with their students beyond academic content and lectures.
  • The University will present symbolic gifts to new students (a sports bag featuring the university's logo)
