Students who to pursue the CE Program with a concentration in environmental engineering must complete the requirements described below.
-
Must complete one elective from the environmental engineering list. The list of electives for the environmental engineering concentration is presented in the table below.
-
The senior design project must be in the environmental engineering area. CE Program students can choose projects in any area, including environmental engineering. However, students wishing to pursue the concentration have no choice but to do a project in the environmental engineering area or their projects must contain substantial environmental considerations.
-
Must take 0401493 - Environmental Outreach Project course. This courserequires compiling a portfolio of creative works/activities done by the student to help advance environmental/sustainability knowledge and awareness. The course is equivalent to 1 credit in terms ofwork load.
