University of Sharjah to Host 2024 of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) International Conferences on Cloud and Big Data Computing
Under the patronage and presence of His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and President of the University of Sharjah (UoS), the College of Computing and Informatics at the University of Sharjah will host the 17th IEEE/ACM International Conference on Cloud Computing and the IEEE/ACM 11th International Conference on Big Data Computing, Applications, and Technologies (UCC 2024 and BDCAT 2024).
The conferences will be held at the Al Zahra Auditorium (W2) at the University of Sharjah from December 16 to 19, 2024. It is expected to attract around 150 researchers from academia and the industry who will discuss the latest advancements in cloud computing, big data computing, and their applications.
These conferences are part of a prestigious series of annual events aimed at providing a platform for researchers to present their cutting-edge work. Previous editions have been hosted in various countries including the UK, China, the USA, Switzerland, New Zealand, and Italy. This event represents a major scientific gathering that fosters collaboration between researchers and professionals in the fields of computing and information technology worldwide.
